The redevelopment and expansion of the campus was focused around the need to provide two new buildings – the Performing Arts and Amenities Centre and the Science Centre – to cater the growing school population and enable a more efficient and functional grouping of academic departments. RLP’s energetic and sustainable design can be seen in the colours applied to the spandrel and blank walls, revealed through a perforated brise-soleil; louvred screens that improve the penetration of sunlight and ventilation; and vertical greening in breakout spaces which enlarges green areas at the school.
